Ya Mon!

boy oh boy, somebody notify VH1... because i believe i just had the best week ever!

i enjoyed a nice long weekend starting with an early office closing on thursday... stayed in the city for the 4th and then bunny-hopped onto a plane to head on down to negril, jamaica for 7 days!!!

our bamboo boat tour! we had the most amazing locals navigate us down a river in the jungle.

after the tour we took a dip in the river to cool off. the river tour was then followed by a banana plantaion tour, which might not sound so interesting, but ppl.... let me tell you just how versatile the banana tree is:

banana trees produce: paper, glue for stamps and letters, fiber for nylon stockings, fiber for rope and fishing line, and even fibers for doll hair/wigs!!! who knew?

after our 7 full days or sun, naps, free food and free drinks... brandon and i headed back to the states....
